Seed STEMFellows Program

The Seed STEM Fellows Program invites 100 outstanding researchers from the forefront of scientific innovation to collaborate with the Seed team on real-world research challenges. Together, we aim to accelerate scientific discovery with AI and advance the frontier of AI intelligence.

Ideal candidates

  • Hold a Ph.D. in a STEM-related field, be currently enrolled in one, or demonstrate an equivalent level of research expertise.
  • Deep academic expertise and a thorough understanding of one or more STEM disciplines.
  • A strong interest in accelerating scientific discovery with AI, a firm belief in its potential, and the ability to clearly assess both the value of AI applications and its current capabilities and limitations within your field.
  • Extensive use of AI as a productivity tool in day-to-day research, with proficiency in programming.

Participation options

We offer the following two participation options, inviting you to work closely with the Seed team on-site. The first cohort is expected to run for approximately 6 months.

  • Scientific Advisor: Scholars affiliated with academic institutions or senior experts in industry with expertise in STEM-related fields.
  • Ph.D. Intern: Current Ph.D. students in STEM-related fields who have a strong interest in exploring frontier problems in AI.

We are interested in all fields within the fundamental sciences that have the potential for deep integration with foundation models. If you are working in another field or exploring problems that could be well suited for integration with AI, we also welcome you to reach out to discuss with us.
